Understanding and Identifying Extremist Messaging

Why it is important to know this: Identifying extremist symbols, numeric codes, and coded jargon is vital for recognizing covert hate speech online, in public spaces, and within local communities. White supremacists and neo-Nazis rarely rely exclusively on obvious symbols like the swastika. Instead, they use stylized runes, obscure numeric shorthand, and co-opted cultural motifs to signal their beliefs to peers, bypass social media moderation, and recruit vulnerable individuals without provoking immediate backlash. Recognizing these indicators allows communities to map radicalization networks and counter hate effectively, shut out or try to convert these lost indeviduals. Its important to note that most of the symbols are stolen from other cultures so if you see some runes they dont immidietly mean that they are in a extreamist group.

Major Extremist Groups and Organizations

Atomwaffen Division: A violent, accelerationist neo-Nazi terrorist network founded in the United States. The group advocates for acts of domestic terrorism, sabotage, and violence against government infrastructure to destabilize democratic society and provoke a racial war.

Wagner Group A Russian state-funded paramilitary force. While operating globally as a private military contractor, its ranks and violent sub units, most notably Task Force Rusich, frequently utilize neo-Nazi imagery, Valknut symbols, Slavic runes, and extreme nationalist slogans in combat zones while also spredding execution videos and more extream content.

Patriot Front: A American white supremacist group that splintered from Vanguard America after the Charlottesville rally. They emphasize masked public marches, flash demonstrations, and propaganda stickering, often hijacking traditional American patriotic symbols and colors to package their ideology.

The Base: A militant, accelerationist neo-Nazi paramilitary group focused on guerilla warfare, military-style training camps, and plotting violent attacks aimed at provoking societal collapse.

Combat 18: A violent neo-Nazi organization formed in the United Kingdom as the armed wing of the Blood & Honour network. The number 18 represents Adolf Hitler's initials.

Nordic Resistance Movement (NRM): A militant pan-Nordic neo-Nazi political party and movement operating across Scandinavia, known for violent anti-Semitic rallies and parliamentary ambitions mixed with paramilitary structure.

Local Extremist Groups (Germany & Hungary)

Because a significant portion of our members resides in Germany and Hungary, we looked into local extremist organizations and radical movements operating within these regions. Ultras groups are also in some cases directly linked to ideologies like neo-Nazism and other forms of far-right politics, and rarely far-left politics. In some instances, hooliganism and/or this politicisation goes to the point where support for their team is relegated to a secondary feature of the phenomenon.

Der Dritte Weg (The Third Way): A militant German neo-Nazi political party founded in 2013. Combining extreme ultranationalism, anti-Semitism, and anti-immigrant rhetoric, the group organizes uniformed street patrols, vigilance groups, and aggressive propaganda operations across Germany.

Die Heimat (formerly NPD): Germany's oldest active far-right, ultranationalist party. Stripped of state funding due to its anti-constitutional stance, the party acts as an umbrella for traditional neo-Nazi activism.

Alternative for Germany (Radical Factions): Specific regional branches and youth factions of the AfD (such as in Thuringia and Saxony-Anhalt) officially classified by German domestic intelligence as confirmed right-wing extremist organizations.

Reichsbürger Movement: An umbrella term for various extremist factions and individuals in Germany who reject the legitimacy of the modern Federal Republic of Germany. Adherents refuse to pay taxes or obey state law, actively stockpile weapons, and have been linked to armed resistance and violent anti-government overthrow plots. The mostly use old German flags on events.

National Socialist Underground (NSU): A clandestine German neo-Nazi terrorist cell responsible for a decade-long campaign of xenophobic assassinations, bank robberies, and bomb attacks across Germany.

Red Army Faction (RAF): A historical far-left West German terrorist organization responsible for dozens of assassinations, bombings, and kidnappings during the Cold War era.

Betyársereg (Outlaws' Army): A Hungarian far-right paramilitary organization composed largely of martial arts practitioners. The group operates under a vigilante ethos, conducting "self-defense" marches, martial training camps, and systematic intimidation directed at minority communities.

Green monsters/B közép ( Ferencváros ultras) Fiercely radical fan group based in Budapest’s ninth district, blending football passion with far-right, anti-LGBTQ+, and pro-violence views. Their culture is defined by confrontational displays, calls for violence in public spaces, and a defiant, often aggressive identity tied to the club’s working-class roots.

Sixty-Four Counties Youth Movement (HVIM): A Hungarian radical nationalist and irredentist movement founded in 2001. The group advocates for the restoration of "Greater Hungary" (pre-Treaty of Trianon borders) and organizes youth rallies, violent demonstrations, and revisionist propaganda campaigns across Central Europe.

Légió Hungária (Hungarian Legion): A violent Hungarian far-right neo-Nazi organization formed by former members of HVIM. Known for street violence, vandalizing Jewish cultural sites, and organizing radical ultranationalist marches.

Hungarian Self-defence Movement (MÖM): A Hungarian nationalist organization formed in 2014. While styling itself as a civic volunteer group, it frequently conducts vigilante patrols and intimidation marches ("mood-improving walks") in Roma communities.

Our Homeland Movement (Mi Hazánk Mozgalom): A radical right-wing political party formed in 2018 by former members of Jobbik. The party maintains close ideological ties and operational overlaps with local Hungarian paramilitary networks.

New Hungarian Guard Movement (Magyar Gárda): A banned paramilitary civic guard group originally established by radical nationalists to conduct unauthorized patrols and instill fear in ethnic minority villages.

Numeric Codes and Alphanumeric Shorthand

1161: Code standing for Anti-Antifa (A=1, P/F=16/6, A=1), used by far-right groups to declare opposition to anti-fascist activists.

14: Refers to the Fourteen Words, a foundational white supremacist phrase formulated by terrorist David Lane: "We must secure the existence of our people and a future for white children."

88: Stands for Heil Hitler, as H is the eighth letter of the alphabet.

1488: Combines the Fourteen Words slogan with the code for Heil Hitler into a single shorthand phrase widely used in tattoos, usernames, and graffiti.

18: Code for Adolf Hitler (A=1, H=8), commonly used in group names like Combat 18.

28: Code for Blood & Honour (B=2, H=8), referencing an international neo-Nazi skinhead network founded in the 1980s.

23/16: Represents White Power (W=23, P=16), used in extremist clothing brands and graffiti.

311: Represents Ku Klux Klan (K is the eleventh letter, repeated three times).

100%: Used in tattoos and online banners to claim 100 percent pure white or Aryan heritage.

13/52 (or 13/90): Racist shorthand manipulating official law enforcement statistics to promote anti-Black hostility and systemic racism online.

2083: A reference to the year cited in Norwegian terrorist Anders Breivik's anti-immigrant manifesto, frequently shared in far-right online channels.

Co-Opted Runes and Ancient Symbols

Black Sun: A circular symbol featuring twelve radial Sig runes radiating from a central point. Originally incorporated into the floor design of Wewelsburg Castle by Nazi SS leader Heinrich Himmler, it is heavily used today as a prominent alternative to the swastika.

Odal Rune: An ancient Germanic rune signifying heritage and ancestral property. The modified version featuring winged feet at the bottom was used by SS infantry units and is adopted by modern groups like the National Socialist Movement.

Wolfsangel: An ancient heraldic wolf trap symbol co-opted by Nazi Germany (including the 2nd SS Panzer Division) and used today by several far-right paramilitary units and nationalist groups.

Tyr / Tiwaz Rune: An upward-pointing arrow rune historically symbolizing the war deity Týr. Used by Nazi SA officer training schools, it currently serves as the official emblem of the Nordic Resistance Movement.

Algiz / Leben (Life) Rune: An upright branching rune associated with birth and life in Nazi medicine and SS demography offices, widely co-opted on far-right logos and grave markers. Its also used by movements like 141, 1-A Anti 4-D Deforestation 1-A Act, basically it's a pro-nature movement, a lot of it is anti capitalism, anti government, and anything that harms nature.

YR / Toten (Death) Rune: An inverted Algiz rune pointing downward, historically used in Nazi death notices and gravestones, now used by far-right groups to mark fallen members or symbolize mortality.

Kolovrat: A Slavic pagan sun wheel symbol featuring curved arms, co-opted by Slavic white nationalists and far-right ultra-nationalists as an ethnic identity emblem.

Valknut: The valknut is a symbol consisting of three interlocked triangles forming subliminal triskelion at its center. The term valknut is a modern development; it is not known what term or terms were used to refer to the symbol historically. Co-opted by white supremacist Odinists and pagan extremists to signal readiness for violent sacrifice.

Triskele: A three-armed spiral symbol closely resembling a three-legged swastika, adopted by international neo-Nazi groups such as Blood & Honour as a legal replacement for forbidden Nazi insignia.

Celtic Cross: A stylized cross bounded by a circle. While historically a religious symbol, the shortened, geometric square version was adopted post-WWII as one of the most international white power visual identifiers.

Hackenkreuz (Swastika): Its originally stollen from Hinduism/Buddhism, their simbols are also called Swastika but the central official emblem of the Nazi Party and Nazi Germany, remaining the most recognizable symbol of white supremacy and modern neo-Nazism is called Hackenkreuz.

SS Sig Runes: Twin stylized lightning bolts modeled on the ancient Sig rune, representing the Schutzstaffel (SS), the military and police force responsible for major war crimes and managing Holocaust concentration camps.

Totenkopf (Death's Head): A skull and crossbones emblem worn on the uniforms of SS personnel, specifically those guarding concentration camps and serving in elite SS armored divisions.

Iron Cross: A traditional German military award co-opted by neo-Nazis who often overlay swastikas, SS runes, or numbers like 14 and 88 onto the center.

Acronyms, Slogans, and Digital Dog Whistles

Blood and Soil (Blut und Boden): A fundamental Nazi slogan linking ethnic origin (blood) with national territory (soil), modernly chanted during white nationalist rallies.

RAHOWA: Acronym for Racial Holy War, coined by militant white supremacist movements to advocate violent global racial conflict.

ZOG: Stands for Zionist Occupied Government, an anti-Semitic conspiracy theory claiming that foreign Jewish forces secretly control Western governments and financial institutions.

WPWW: Acronym for White Pride World Wide, commonly displayed on banners, patches, and forum footers.

Triple Parentheses (((...))): Also called echoes, used online surrounding a person's name or institution to flag them to other extremists as Jewish or tied to Jewish interests for harassment.

Kekistan Flag: An alt-right meme flag modeled directly on the design layout and proportions of the Nazi war flag (Reichskriegsflagge), replacing the swastika with a stylized green emblem to disguise radical imagery behind irony.

Clown World: A nihilistic online meme concept used in extreme subcultures to portray modern democratic society as absurd, chaotic, and beyond repair, promoting accelerationist views.

I've been trying to socialize myself more, defeat my social anxiety, and build my social skills. I know a lot of my friends who could use help in this area, so I've come up with two ideas and practices that I do to help me make more friends.
The first one is that I observe the people around me a lot more carefully and try to find something on them I can compliment. For example, if someone has a cool hairstyle or nice badges on their bag, I try to pass by them somehow and just say, "Love your hairstyle! It's really cool!" Stuff like this can lead to conversations and friends eventually, but it's also good because you overcome the fear of taking the first step and initiating a convo. But you don't even need to have a convo, you can just do a drive-by and shoot a compliment at them. It's also nice because maybe with this compliment, you made their day just a bit better.
The other thing I do is that I make lil origamis with my socials on them and give it to people while I give the compliment. It gives them the choice to contact me later. It can sadly be misinterpreted as you wanting a relationship, but it's a nice gesture overall.

In my family, it is a tradition to prepare food together, set the table, and say grace before we eat. But I’ve noticed that in a lot of my friends’ houses, they just eat whenever they want, and there’s no time spent together.
To be honest, their family circumstances aren’t always the best, but from my personal experience, it’s such a good thing to eat together. It’s kind of a communal time that we share, and I find it important. It’s a time of day where we all get together, fulfill our bodily needs by taking in nutrients, and are kind of forced to see each other. This creates space for conversations, chats within the family, planning, and much more.
I find it nice, and I love eating together with people. You should try it too!

For a while now, I’ve been diving deep into ethics and philosophy. It has pushed me to rework the foundations of Sodanitas to make it more concrete, meaningful, and grounded in direct action.
We already have a small, fiercely dedicated group, and I’m truly inspired by the work we’ve done together. We’ve been scraping off racist stickers to reclaim our public spaces. We’ve cleaned up the local forest. We’ve hosted picnics to build community, and even took a three-day beach trip to recharge and strengthen our bonds.
University kept me busy for a bit, but I’m finally making progress on the group's gear. Over the next few days, I’ll be finishing up the patches and necklaces. I also decided to rework the logo, replacing "Love Thy Neighbour" with "None Of Us Alone." The old slogan carries too much Christian stigma these days, and the new one fits us better.
We’re not stopping here. I want to start designing our own campaign stickers to push back hard against local racist groups. If we can sow discord and frustrate them, even better. This isn’t just about resistance: it’s about taking up space, making our presence known, and ensuring they never feel comfortable in thier our communities. Ofc the budget will be a tiny bit of a problem. As far aas i seen 10 necklaces will cost around 30Eu but when i scrape that much together ill do it.

Tonight, while doing my nightly chores, one of those chores is watering the bushes, trees, grass, and plants. Most of these are plants that give us fruit or vegetables to consume throughout the year, or the grass that we can cut, or let our bunnies eat while theyre leashed.
One of the trees is a small peach tree we got a few years ago. Its about 2 meters tall right now. That made me remember when I was small, we had a huge peach tree—like 10 or 20 meters tall. It dawned on me how time passes. This tree (hopefully) will grow as big as that one someday.
I started wondering: How long will it take for this tree to grow that big? How old will I be then? How will I be then? Will I be standing here, proudly watching as my grandchildren play and climb the tree? Or will I be under it, giving it the nourishment it needs?
I dont know.

Fuckin hate dreaming sometimes.
I dreamed that I made a very cool and awesome friend and we spent lots and lots of time together. We spent so much time together—it felt like forever. We met at university during some event I wasn’t even supposed to attend. They had lost one of their hands below the wrist, but their style was flawless. They wore mostly green clothes, glasses, and had long hair. Their personality was incredibly bubbly and warm. We talked about everything under the sun while riding public transport, shared stories with other friends, and laughed a lot. One night, after they and their boyfriend went to sleep, I stayed over and crashed on the couch and then i woke up.
The drenching reality hits me: it is not a real person, they are not my friend and I will never ever have a connection like this with a person like this. A turly horrible feeling and for a solid 10-25 minutes i get this feeling of something missing. I just sat there, missing something I never had and never will.
So stupid. Why are dreams like this?

As a German i have heard a song called "Kartoffelsalad" a song made by a grandma singing about diffrent types of salats and how to make them. Shes using a swabian dialect that is really hard to understand for multible people. What bothered me that i have not seen a lyrics video of it so i decided to make one!! You can listen to it and read the translated engish, normal german and swabian lyrics [ Here ]

So I've been wanting to get out more from my home and meet new people, and I found an excellent app for it. Its called [ Nomadtable ]. It was originally designed for travellers, but locals also use it to find people for events. It basically shows you a map where you can see events that people are hosting, and you can create your own too. If you decide that an event sounds good, you click a button, and you will be placed in a little group chat with them.

These are so usefull and cheep. I Buyed one in a local shop a few months ago for 1.2€ and have been using them ever since. They are so usefull to scrape off Nazi or other hatefull stickers n stuff. I really recomend it. I like to take a picture before and after the place i cleaned. Honestly its so disgusitng, how can people exist with so much hate against others who never interracted with them.

Happy Starwars day! Im happy to say that the voting has begun on what Minecraft version should the new game be and im thinking of making new videos. While this is all good and dandy, im facing some hardship in uni. I feel like im too dumb to be studying this, like i dont deserve to be here. All the math part of Electiccal Engineering is so hard to keep for me in my head. Im highly reconsidering switching majors to something other then this. I feel often that im the deffinition of "jack of all traits, but master of none" Soo many things intrest me and i know a lot about a certain topic but i lack the discipline and deeper knowlage to achually make something off so i could live and earn money in this world.

Im really busy with university right now but im actively working to make stickers, patches and Necklaces with Vitakross. Followers who had put down the oath will get one necklace for free. I found two people who have accses to a laser cutter and im planning on making the solidwork files myself so the guy only needs to cut these. The stickers are gonna be cheep to make too becouse im personally planning them and going to the printing press, printing them out and making the whole procces so i only need to pay for materials. The minecraft server that is running right now is really laggy. I dont know what happened but apparently a modded jumping creeper exploded and now people get 1 frames per sec. Im gonna make a poll about this in the discord ofc but i dont know if i should try to run it on the latest minecraft version. Im not really sure if my cheep server can handle running it.
